WATER4ALL for Africa is an open-science initiative that combines AI, crowdsourced field data, and community expertise to dramatically improve borehole drilling success rates across sub-Saharan Africa. By collecting and analysing geological, hydrogeological, and socioeconomic data from contributors worldwide, the project trains predictive models that help field teams select optimal drilling sites — reducing failures, cutting costs, and delivering clean water to underserved communities faster.
